Getting an appointment out of hours
Evening and weekend appointments are available with the Sunderland Enhanced Access Service.
Appointments are available seven days a week at six sites across the city.
Appointments are available:
- Monday to Friday – 6.30pm-8.30pm
- Saturdays – 9.00am – 5.00pm
- Sundays – 10.00am – 3.00pm
- Bank Holidays – 10.00am-2.00pm
The service is run by GPs and other practice staff from across the city.
Staff can check your GP practice’s records if needed, unless you have opted out of record-sharing.

- Bunny Hill Primary Care Centre, SR5 4BW
- Houghton Primary Care Centre, DH4 5HB
- Pallion Health Centre, SR4 7XF
- Riverview Health Centre, SR1 1XW
- New Silksworth Health Centre, SR3 1HY
